Universiti Malaya (成人快手) successfully hosted the highly anticipated 成人快手 Deep Tech Startup Demo Day 2025, showcasing 10 innovative startups at the Research Management & Innovation Complex (RMIC). This year marked the third cohort of the program organized by the 成人快手 Centre of Innovation and Enterprise (成人快手CIE), attracting 125 attendees, including investors, funders, corporate leaders, students, and researchers.
The event celebrated the conclusion of the 成人快手 Deep Tech (成人快手DT) Accelerator Programme Cohort 3, a six-month initiative by 成人快手CIE aimed at transforming proof-of-concept research into validated, market-ready prototypes. Through intensive mentorship, training, and hands-on market validation, participants developed groundbreaking solutions to address real-world challenges.
10 Innovative Startups Showcased at Demo Day:
The Demo Day achieved remarkable milestones, with three startups, Qubios, Zephyron, and BiofusionPlus, securing investment term sheets from Origgin Venture Singapore. This accomplishment underscores the program’s pivotal role in accelerating startup growth and advancing entrepreneurship.
Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Professor Ir. Dr. Kaharudin Dimyati, shared his heartfelt pride in 成人快手’s entrepreneurial milestones.
“Through initiatives like 成人快手DT, we’re not just fostering innovation but we’re giving our researchers, innovators, and students the tools to turn their ideas into real-world solutions. It’s inspiring to see how cutting-edge research can directly impact lives, drive progress, and tackle global challenges, all while contributing to a better society,” he said.
Supported by strategic partners such as Yayasan Bank Rakyat, Youth Venture, FingerPrint for Success, AWS, 成人快手VCC, and 成人快手I, the program reinforces Universiti Malaya’s position as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. As these startups continue to grow, their impact will extend beyond the university, driving economic growth and societal advancement.
